Well, some people are 'just' paying attention when watching The Matrix, some of them watch it over and over, and some of them think it deserves to be analysed. Analyzing must be approached carefully. Analyze too little and it becomes useless, analyse too much and you'll destroy the suspension of disbelief where most films are based on. Remember, films are initially entertainment. But some of these films realize complex worlds and/or stories, which could easily go beyond the movie. That's where this section comes in.

The world of the Matrix can be viewed from many angles, and the concept allows lots of interpretations and comparisons with other movies, literature and even history. Lots of things were intentional and lots of things intentionally left vague, and therefore can be interpreted in any way you like. That's exactly what creates the myth around the movies and that's also exactly why the Wachowski Brothers don't do interviews; they don't want to answer questions on bibical character names, comparisons with greek mythology and the many numbers which could refer to text passages in books, maybe carry a deeper meaning or have no meaning at all...

The intention is to expand this section with creations and views from fans and articles from other sources, in an attempt to find out how deep the rabbit hole really goes...

Zion and Real World structure

Reloaded introduced Zion, and it's accompanying hierarchtic structure. "f g" created an image of the entire known structure of Zion and the Real World.
