WHAT'S IN THE TEASER? >Source: IGN filmforce
Will it be like this? I don't know, it's exciting though. If you're the first to see it in your local cinema soon, let me know what you think of it on the forum!
The screen is black, when we start to hear the sound of the binary code, like in the original. Just one green letter of the Matrix falls down the screen, followed by another, and then another.
Suddenly, they multiply and the entire screen is covering in green letters flowing down it. The letters continue falling vertically downward, faster.
The sound stops and the code keeps moving faster until it blurs into a series of images: Trinity, Neo, and Morpheus. The sound of an explosion is heard as the screen flashes white, and then back to pitch black. A man's voice reads the computer text that appears on the screen: "Reload your Love."
This is followed by a few seconds of quickly cut images showing Neo and Trinity. Doing what? It's a mystery. Another line of text appears and is read: "Reload your Gun." Another few seconds of quick cutting images, this time showing Neo having a shootout with agents. In one shot he is completely surrounded by agents.
A third line of computer text appears: "Reload your Mind." Multiple scenes from the film are then shown, in a montage that lasts a little under 10 seconds. There's a scene when Morpheus phones himself out of the Matrix just as an agent fires at him, only to shoot air. The film's release date appears on the screen as the narrator dramatically says, "Get ready!"
SPECIAL EFFECTS SPOILER >Source: Corona
A couple of months ago, you may remember the reports about Universal Pictures CEO Ron Meyer speaking to college students. At one point, Meyer's apparently spilled the details on a certain special effects sequence in the 'Matrix Reloaded'. It seems that the FX Meyers mentions are not entirely correct as to what will actually show up on screen. And for that, here is what could be considered a Major Spoiler (Scroll to Read):
SPOILER ->
The scene in question will be one of Matrix 2's biggest fight scenes and quite possibly its most complex from a special effects point-of-view. In it Neo (Keanu Reeves) is fighting over one hundred Agents (all looking exactly like Hugo Weaving, a.k.a. Agent Smith) in a totally CGI, photo-realistic environment. Spread around Neo and the hundred Agents are completely CGI extras, "synthespians" reacting to the combat as it occurs. Various cuts in the action will incorporate "bullet-time" perspectives but we're told these shots are the next generation in the bullet-time concept. Visual effects supervisor and bullet-time creator John Gaeta will be pushing himself and the technology to the limit to pull off this incredibly complex scene -- and that's not even counting the film's other special effects or bullet-time sequences. Using an analogy from another film, this fight between the Smith doubles and Neo has the same degree of difficulty as the final space dogfight sequence seen in Return of the Jedi, which at the time set a record for the number of blue screen shots and models used in a scene. This will be The Matrix Reloaded's Mount Everest to climb.
<- [SPOILER]
There is more. As for the Zion scene Sequences:
...what the Wachowskis are filming looks amazing. We're told that the brothers brought in hundreds of extras from minority backgrounds for these shots. We're told that one scene in particular recalls the "spiral shot" sequence the Wachowskis had in Bound, but far cooler.
CADILLAC COMMERCIAL >Source: Corona
The latest issue of Newsweek reports that Cadillac is gearing up for a massive ad campaign to market their cars to a much younger target audience. One of the ways Cadillac is going after this market is by using their new luxury pickup truck, the EXT, as a promotional vehicle in the next Matrix film. Newsweek cryptically EXT will be the "vehicle of choice" for the villian in The Matrix Reloaded.
THE MATRIX 2 TITLE
It is said all over the internet that the official title for The Matrix 2 will be:
The Matrix: Reloaded
Nothing has been officially confirmed at this point but it looks like it will be very soon.
THE LOOKS OF NIOBE >Source: Aint it cool

THE MATRIX ON X-BOX >Source: XBox.IGN.com
Want to be the first to play The Matrix? You're going to need an Xbox.
Through a regulatory filing today, it was revealed that Microsoft will be loaning $5 million to Interplay in exchange for Shiny's The Matrix being exclusive to the console for about six months.
In the report, it was stated that the game would feature online play only through the Xbox, and more extras than other versions. These include using actual Woo Ping choreography, the actual actors providing voices to the characters, and more music tracks from the film's composer in addition to more vehicles, weapons, and video. Also, Interplay will be spending $500,000 to develop online features for the game that will only be available to Xbox owners.
The report stated that the game would be release no more than three months after The Matrix II is released in theaters. There was one more interesting nugget of information in the report. It stated that Interplay has agreed to pay $5 to $7 per unit of Xbox software as their royalty to Microsoft, which is less than the average PlayStation 2 royalty that chimes in at $8 to $10 per unit of software. Originally, The Matrix was planned for Playstation 2.
